BLOCKHEADS - This World Is Dead Album Details Revealed; Teaser Video Posted

French grindcore activists BLOCKHEADS have revealed details fore their forthcoming fifth full-length, and first album in over six years, entitled This World Is Dead.
Recorded in Geneva, Switzerland at Terrier 5 with Jerome of NOSTROMO / MUMAKIL, This World Is Dead features 25 songs clocking in at over 40 minutes of brutally efficient, grade-A, frenzied grind. The album will see it’s release on CD/LP/Digital on January 22nd (North America), January 21st (UK/World), and January 18th (Germany/Benelux/Finland).

The band commented on the upcoming album: “We think that our new tracks mirror the same state of mind which still exists since Blockheads' beginning and we can't wait for its release and to play on stage again.”
Formed 20 years ago, Blockheads (Xav - vocals, Fred - guitar/vocals, Nico - drums/vocals and Eric - bass/vocals) have unleashed four full-lengths in addition to numerous splits, comps and DVDs. The band has toured throughout Europe with such genre heavyweights as NAPALM DEATH, NASUM, CARCASS and BRUTAL TRUTH.
