December 10, 2012, 11 years ago
Maldives-based NOTHNEGAL are currently recording the follow-up to their Decadence album, and they have released the first in a series of in-studio videos. Check out the clip below:
The band recently entered Vakaruge Studio in Male, Maldives to work on their as-yet-untitled second album.
The follow-up to 2012's Decadence is being produced by Matt Hyde (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, AS I LAY DYING) with vocal production duties being handled by Paul Reeve of MUSE fame. Additional production / engineering will be handled by longtime Nothnegal producer Mohamed Shamheed.
Photos of the band recording vocals for the album have been posted and can be seen at this location.
Nothnegal's longtime guitarist Fufu will not be part of the recording of the new album. Chippe (SERENITY DIES) will be filling in for Fufu who still remains a member of Nothnegal. This will also be the first recording of Nothnegal since vocalist Affan joined the band as an official member; Affan made a guest appearance on the band's previous album Decadence.
