December 18, 2012, 11 years ago
Speaking to Metal Hammer for the January 2013 issue, drummer Lars Ulrich revealed details for METALLICA's follow-up to their 2008 album, Death Magnetic, expected in 2014. The band are currently working on the new material in the studio.
Says Ulrich: ""The stuff that we were banging out yesterday, it felt heavy, it felt energetic, it was loud, it was fast, it was rocking, it was crazy. The snare drum was on there and there were guitar solos, in case anybody was wondering.''
Ulrich added: ''What we're doing now certainly sounds like a continuation of where we left off four years ago.''
