MEGADETH are currently working on their 14th studio album, with producer Johnny K (aka John Karkazis; MACHINE HEAD, DISTURBED). Band leader Dave Mustaine has just issued the following update:

"Cutting vocals today! Some inspiration! Jesus and Clint Eastwood!"

The new, as yet untitled album is expected in early 2013, via a label to be announced. Megadeth recently parted ways with Roadrunner Records.

As previously reported, Megadeth have been recognized for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, February 10th at the Staples Center. They have been nominated for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance, the complete list of nominees in that category is as follows:
