ALICE COOPER To Headline The UK's Cropredy Convention

According to RTT News, shock rock icon ALICE COOPER has signed on for a headlining spot at the Cropredy Convention in Oxfordshire, England which takes place takes place August 8-10. The festival was founded by Fairport Convention member Dave Pegg in 1980.
Cooper takes the stage on August 8 in what is billed as his only UK public appearance of the year. Pegg says he's thrilled to finally have Alice on the bill:
"We've been hoping to get Alice Cooper to Cropredy for years and at last the work calendars have coincided. Alice is one of rock music's great originals and his live shows are pure entertainment with their great combination of rock, theatricality and breathtaking staging."He adds: "We are sure our audience will be blown away by Alice Cooper. Rock acts always go down well with the Cropredy crowd . . ."
Tickets go on sale on February 1.
