ABORTED have uploaded drum-cam footage, filmed in Essen, Germany on January 19th at Turock, while on tour with VADER. Check out the footage from drummer Ken Bedene's point of view below:
Aborted recently released a lyric video for 'Vermicular, Obscene, Obsese'.
Vocalist and leading force, Sven De Caluwe, explains the song: “Eating carbs is bad mmmkay? So yeah we have this new lyric video up for 'Vermicular, Obscene, Obese'... which isn't really about carbs, unless you count corpses as carbs, or grannies, or trannies, or something... it’s also absolutely not about mass consumerism and other social points of view since we are as brain dead as our music, so go check out the funky stuff from the funky bunch, and enjoy!”
Aborted recently announced a string of Goremageddon 10th anniversary shows in April. A message from the band follows:
"So here it is ladies and gents! 2013 Goremageddon anniversary shows will be in April! We will have several special guests on the limited shows (six dates throughout Europe). First announced guest is BENIGHTED, more information on the shows and guests will be revealed as time goes by!The art for this re-imagining has been done by our good friend Grindesign and he did a killer job if I may say so! Spread the word and keep your eyes open for more details as they become available!"
Aborted's Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage Done album was released via Listenable Records in 2003. Stay tuned for tour dates, to be announced soon.
VADER's Back To The Black tour kicked off on January 17th in Berlin, Germany, and also features Aborted and BONDED BY BLOOD.
Aborted mastermind and vocalist Sven De Caluwe is excited to be on the road with Vader: "12 years ago we toured with Vader for the first time and it will be a pleasure to molest stages throughout Europe with them again and see them play legendary albums such as Black To The Blind and Sothis, records which were very influential and didn't go unnoticed to any metal head back in that period. We are thrilled to get out there and bring our own blend of extreme metal to the bill, crush some skulls and party with the fans every night. Our set-list will cover material from all of our albums and there will be a few surprises here and there including songs we haven't played live before!”
