WITHIN THE RUINS To Shoot Two Videos This Weekend
February 1, 2013, 11 years ago
Massachusetts juggernauts WITHIN THE RUINS will release their new record, Elite, on February 26th via eOne/Good Fight Music. The new effort will be the first full length since the band released Invade in 2010.
The band will be shooting two music videos, for the tracks 'Feeding Frenzy' and 'New Holy War', this weekend to support the new record. Within The Ruins have tapped veteran director Kevin J. Custer to take the healm.
Guitarist Joe Cocchi comments: "These two songs are the best representation of the new album as a whole. We chose a very melodic/groove oriented song ('Feeding Frenzy') which is something this album has a lot more of. The other ('New Holy War') displays our more familiar fast paced and to-the-point sound and lyrically focusing on religion. With Kevin's help we've come up with two pretty kick ass ideas. Two back to back days of shooting will require tremendous amounts of alcohol, so we are looking for a beer sponsor as well. Just kidding, but not really."
