JAMES RIVERA Announces DENIM AND LEATHER Appearance In Philadelphia

Fresh off the 70000 Tons Of Metal, and as if he doesn't have enough outlets for his talent, singer JAMES RIVERA (HELSTAR, MALICE, ex-FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, SEVEN WITCHES) will bring his traditional metal cover band, aka DENIM AND LEATHER (A Tribute To Classic Hard Rock And Heavy Metal) to the US Northeast, appearing Saturday March 2nd at the newly revitalized Voltage Lounge (7th street: nextdoor to the Electric Factory) in Philadelphia.
Also in the band are bassist Jeff Baker from Ronny Munroe's (METAL CHURCH, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA) solo band KINGS CHAMBER and guitarist John Risko of SINISTER REALM.
In addition to some of the biggest metal acts of the last three decades, the band's past repertoire has included a selection of underground classics, from the likes of JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, SAXON, ACCEPT, MERCYFUL FATE, as well as more "commercial" fare, by DEF LEPPARD and SCORPIONS. There will be a pair of original acts: SEASON OF MOURNING and a female fronted, prog leaning MINDMAZE, as well as the School Of Rock's House Band.
