CROCELL - New Album "Will Be Darker And A Bit More Blackened"
February 9, 2013, 11 years ago
Denmark-based death metal act CROCELL have checked in with the following update:
Today we entered Death Island Studio in Nykøbing Mors to record the third, as yet untitled Crocell album. So far the drums for a couple tracks are done, and the guitar sound is also more or less ready.
All recordings will take place during the next 14 days and then the album will be mixed and mastered here as well. We will put up some photos and video on our Facebook page so remember to check in and see what is happening.
The album will be out through our new American partner, Metal Hell Records, who has shown to be a very serious and hard working label and we expect the album out in the early summer.
The new album will be darker and a bit more blackened, so expect nothing but a brutal Scandinavian death metal album."
In 2012, Crocell parted ways with lead singer Magnus Jørgensen, who was replaced by Asbjørn Steffensen (also in MORDAX).
Crocell made two new songs available for streaming recently. The two songs, 'Come Forth Plague' and 'Perfidious Ceremony', are produced by Jacob Olsen at JBO Sound, and are the first recordings with Asbjørn handling the vocal duties.

Crocell lineup:
Asbjørn Steffensen - vocals
