AOSOTH - New Album Details Revealed
February 13, 2013, 11 years ago
French sowers of intelligent, distinctive and airless black metal, AOSOTH, have revealed details of their forthcoming full-length album out on Agonia Records. The release, entitled IV:Arrow In Heart, (cover below) will be released April 16th worldwide.
The new album is a natural improvement over bands previews release, entitled III. The band comment: IV:Arrow In Heart holds yet a bigger spiritual meaning: We've spent such a huge amount of time on defining a darker identity, yet open to a wider range of influences. Those tracks still haunt us, as delivering them was a painful and excruciating experience, and left some of us even physically wounded... Which gives that album even more of a spiritual value, as it involved a form of sacrifice. This fourth full-length release is without a doubt a great step forward for us in term of music writing, and sound."
The album will consist of six original tracks and 56 minutes of music.
Tracklist for IV:Arrow In Heart:
'An Arrow in Heart'
'One With The Prince With A Thousand Enemies'
'Temple of Knowledge'
'Under The Nails and Fingertips'
'Broken Dialogue 1'
'Broken Dialogue 2'
'Ritual Marks of Penitence'
To coincide with the release of IV:Arrow In Heart, the re-release of Aosoth's II and III albums on black vinyl will see the light of day.
