Austin, Texas-based acid rockers SCORPION CHILD will be bringing their live swagger to stages across the US and Canada this spring supporting tour headliners, CLUTCH. Openers include ORANGE GOBIN and LIONIZE. The 34-date trek will launch on March 9th in Cincinnati and end in Baltimore on April 20th, 2013.

Frontman Aryn Jonathan Black shares the following about the band’s first North American tour as a newly signed band on Nuclear Blast Entertainment’s roster: “It is an extreme pleasure to join the Nuclear Blast family of like minds and heavy souls. To be a part of this tour is an honor for us as fans and we will forever cherish this experience.”

Scorpion Child's self-titled, full-length debut will be released in May. Produced and arranged by Chris “Frenchie” Smith (THE ANSWER, AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD...), the album uses analog recording technology to organically capture a hybrid of nine, hook-filled chapters of heavy psych rock.
