AMANDA SOMERVILLE - Second ROCK MEETS CLASSIC 2013 Tour Video Update Online

The 2013 edition of the annual ROCK MEETS CLASSIC European tour kicked off on February 18th in Berlin, Germany. Backing vocalist AMANDA SOMERVILLE (TRILLIUM, AVANTASIA) has issued the second in a series of her traditional tour updates:
"Moving along to our first show ever in the Netherlands, we played our show in Kerkrade to a gracious and enthusiastic Dutch audience! They made me proud. :-) Then we headed up to Halle, Westfalen to play our fourth year in a row at the Gerry Weber Stadion and they were as great as always. I hope you have fun checking out what's going on behind the scenes."Rock Meets Classic also features PRIMAL FEAR bandmates Mat Sinner (bass/master of ceremonies), Alex Beyrodt (guitars), Ralf Scheepers (backing vocals) and Randy Black (drums) as part of THE MAT SINNER BAND. It also features Somerville (backing vocals), Avantasia's Oliver Hartmann (guitars), Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Tiffany Kirkland (backing vocals), Kolinda Brozovic (backing vocals) and Sascha Krebs (´backing vocals).
Now into its fourth year, Rock Meets Classic showcases classic rock artists of the '70s and '80s performing their hits backed by a full-on rock band and an orchestra. Artists that have taken part in previous tours include Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE), Dan McCafferty (NAZARETH), Steve Lukather (TOTO), Lou Gramm (FOREIGNER), and Jimi Jamison (SURVIVOR).
