In a new blog update, ONWARD/GODLESS RISING guitarist TOBY KNAPP is seeking musicians for live performances.

According to a press release, "Knapp has once again begun the search for a bassist and drummer to complete an all instrumental "power trio". The prospective musicians should be over 21 with a particular penchant for traditional Heavy Metal and progressive music. There will be no rigorous touring or any thing of that sort. The goal is for some one-off regional performances and a 'see how it goes' attitude when it comes to looking into bigger endeavors. The band would draw upon Knapp's six instrumental albums including the yet to be released Static Warfare. Knapp resides in Wyoming so nearby musicians are a must. Knapp recently announced the titles of the nine tracks to appear on his forthcoming solo album, Static Warfare. They are as follows:

Knapp recently stated the following about the release: "When I began writing the album the idea I had in mind was a totally uplifting melodic guitar instrumental album, something an Eric Johnson fan would like. As I finished I realized it's probably, unintentionally, going to be one of darkest and most abrasive "instrumental" albums out there. What I write just naturally comes out dark, the happy shred 'guitar boy' disappeared long ago."
