CHTHONIC To Hold Worldwide Rhythm Crusher Battle Tomorrow

Taiwanese extreme metal group CHTHONIC will join fans in Tokyo, Japan tomorrow at Rockaholic for a live battle of the band’s new mobile music app game Chthonic – Rhythm Crush. Eliminate members of the band will DJ during the event and prizes will be awarded to fans at the event, with the grand prize taking home a brand new iPad Mini.
Chthonic would also like to invite fans worldwide to join the battle via the game’s online Vs. Mode. The band members will using the following screen names: FreddyLimTT, dorisyeh0919, and Jessefilth, and they will accept challenges from fans around the world. Fans should log on at 5:00 AM EST, 2:00 AM PST on March 8th to join the game from halfway around the world.
Guitarist Jesse Liu comments: “We can’t wait to hang out with fans and play ‘Rhythm Crusher’ live. We know it’s early in the morning for some, but we hope fans from other parts of the world will join us for this celebration of two of the world’s mightiest things, heavy metal and video games.”
The game was released on January 29th and includes 12 songs spread through Chthonic’s six studio albums.
