German rockers THE NEW BLACK will play a special release show for III: Cut Loose at the Pitcher rock bar in Düsseldorf, Germany on March 15th, the album's official release date. According to the band, the evening will include an acoustic set and the album will, of course, be on sale.

They have issued the following update:

"In case you couldn't find the free download of 'Count Me In', a more direct link is here
.

Rehearsal yesterday was great. Ran through the whole new album and rearranged some older favorites for acoustic guitars. Even though Fabs tends to stick to his own personal arrangements in 'Wound', whereas Leimsen keeps forgetting parts of 'Ballad Of Broken Angels' he has played approx. 2,000 times. Haha. Unfortunately, Günt was stricken with the Flu666, so we keep our tradition intact: No complete rehearsals before important shows (see: VOLBEAT tour, AC/DC support...) But then again: What can you do?

We are very much looking forward to next Friday in Düsseldorf!"

Mixing duties for the new album were handled by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, PRETTY MAIDS) who commented: "These guys completely floored me with their stylish mix of both modern metal and vintage rock 'n' roll. This is a band that could get big if things are done the right way!"

III: Cut Loose tracklisting:

'Innocence & Time'

'Count Me In'

'Muzzle & Blinkers'

'Superhuman Mission'

'Cut Loose'

'Any Colour You Like (As Long As It's Black)'

'Burning D'

'Not Quite That Simple'

'Sharkpool'

'The Unexpected Truth'

'One Thing I Know'

'Antidote'

III: Cut Loose finds the band fine-tuning their signature style while keeping heaviness and catchiness fully intact. Their music has been described in the past as "Our kind of party: BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bring the booze, PANTERA spice it up, THIN LIZZY add some taste, and ALTER BRIDGE smooth it over before METALLICA turn it black. And you can be there, too!”
