DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen has posted new drum cam footage from the recent Epic Industrialist Tour on his official YouTube channel. In the clip below he performs 'Planet Of The Apes' from the Townsend's Deconstruction album:

"Hey everyone,The second Drumcam of 2013 is here. The footage taken, was once again recorded with my Zoom Q3HD Camera Recorder. This is a version of 'Planet of the Apes' off of the DTP's Deconstruction album. This was always a tricky song to play with all the time signature changes mixed in with the various beats and fills. It was also the most fun song for me to record on that album. I'm stoked we're playing it live!
This clip was taken from the side of my kit as opposed to it being filmed behind the kit in a previous drum cam I released over a year ago. You get to see more of what my hands are doing in this version. I've also messed around with the drum fills and beats a little more to make it more interesting, tighter and a little more fun to play live ;) This footage taken from the amazing co-headlining tour we did with FEAR FACTORY from October to December 2012.
I'll be working on 2013 played material in the near future to be released on my channel soon.... for now, I hope you enjoy this 11 minute epic journey off Drumcam goodness."
