AMANDA SOMERVILLE - Fifth ROCK MEETS CLASSIC 2013 Tour Video Update Online

The 2013 edition of the annual ROCK MEETS CLASSIC European tour kicked off on February 18th in Berlin, Germany and ended last night (March 17) in Zürich, Switzerland. Backing vocalist AMANDA SOMERVILLE (TRILLIUM, AVANTASIA) has issued the fifth in a series of her traditional tour updates below.
Says Somerville: "Our circus continues in Ingolstadt, where we had some awesome days off and then on to Neu-Ulm. Hope you like your further peek behind the scenes! "
Rock Meets Classic also featured PRIMAL FEAR bandmates Mat Sinner (bass/master of ceremonies), Alex Beyrodt (guitars), Ralf Scheepers (backing vocals) and Randy Black (drums) as part of THE MAT SINNER BAND. It also features Avantasia's Oliver Hartmann (guitars), Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Tiffany Kirkland (backing vocals), Kolinda Brozovic (backing vocals) and Sascha Krebs (backing vocals).
Now into its fourth year, Rock Meets Classic showcased classic rock artists of the '70s and '80s performing their hits backed by a full-on rock band and an orchestra. Artists on this year's tour include Paul Rodgers (BAD COMPANY, FREE), Eric Bazilian (THE HOOTERS), Chris Thompson (MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND), Steve Augeri (JOURNEY), and Bonnie Tyler.
