STRYPER's Michael Sweet Talks Second Coming, Forthcoming Studio Album In New Audio Interview

It's always a real wake-up call when talking with STRYPER's vocalist and lead guitarist Michael Sweet who phoned into WVOX.com's Metal Mayhem show in New York just recently to elaborate on the group's new release, a well put together CD of some of Stryper's best-known classics from their first three albums out now on one collection, Second Coming, on Frontiers Records. Hosts Matt O'Shaughnessy and Tony Gizzo welcomed Michael Sweet back to Metal Mayhem who spoke about the bands 30th anniversary, next studio disc and the popularity and ongoing mission of Christian heavy metal. "30 years ago we embarked on a mission. A mission to turn from the temptations of the Sunset Strip and turn to the grace, mercy and forgiveness of God The Father," states the band on the liner notes of Second Coming.
