SOUNDGARDEN Sign Administration Pact With BMG Chrysalis US

According to Billboard, SOUNDGARDEN has struck a worldwide administration deal with BMG Chrysalis US.
The new deal covers Soundgarden’s entire catalog, including the big hits 'Spoonman', 'Black Hole Sun' and 'Blow Up The Outside World'.
“Soundgarden have earned their place in music history as innovators of the rock genre,” comments Jill Pedone, creative director at BMG Chrysalis U.S., in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with the band during their pivotal reemergence and their catalog that has changed the face of rock music.”Richard Blackstone, executive VP, creative & business development at BMG Chrysalis US added: “We are so very proud to be representing the entire body of work from this seminal band. We are honored that they have chosen BMG to be the new home for their music, both old and new.”
Soundgarden’s latest album, King Animal, opened at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 following its release last November.
