British metallers THE DEFILED have revealed the support bands they will be bringing with them on their May run. MALFEICE and BREED 77 join the London act for the five shows which include a slot at Takedown festival.

“We are very pleased to announce that Breed 77 and Malefice are gonna be coming out with us in May”, says The Defiled’s frontman Stitch D. “We've toured with both bands before and they're all fucking top dudes! Gonna be fun!”

“Breed 77 are thrilled to announce that following our recent successful tour in the UK we are going back on the road this time joining our London brothers in Metal The Defiled on there tour for some shows!”, echos Breed 77. “Looking forward to seeing you all on the road! Rock onnnnn!!!!!”

After years as one of the UK’s most successful unsigned acts, London modern metal mob The Defiled recently signed a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, who will release their second album, Daggers, this summer.

To whet the appetites of fans, the first song from the album, 'Sleeper', was released via iTunes on March 17th. A lyric video for the track can be seen below:

Frontman Stitch D states: “We're ecstatic to announce that we are signing to Nuclear Blast Entertainment. After years of being an independent band and doing everything DIY we can't wait to have such a huge label and great team behind us to take us to the next level. It’s an honour to be working with a label that have released some of our favourite bands of all time.”
