JEFF KOLLMAN Announces Hometown Shows

L.A.-based guitarist Jeff Kollman (BOMBASTIC MEATBATS, GLENN HUGHES, MOGG/WAY) has announced two shows in his hometown of Toledo, OH with his instrumental trio, COSMOSQUAD, featuring drummer Shane Gaalaas (B'z, DIESEL MACHINE, MSG) and bassist Ric Fierabracci (CHICK COREA, BILLY COBHAM, PLANET X). The group will perform on successive nights at The Rocket Bar on May 24 and 25.
Jeff Kollman achieved local legend status in the Toledo area and beyond as a teenage guitar prodigy with a succession of bands, including THE STAIN, VXN with brother/drummer Tommy Kollman and vocalist Bryce Barnes, and, most notably, EDWIN DARE, adding bassist Kevin CHOWN (BOMBASTIC MEATBATS, TARJA TURUNEN, ARTENSION) to the existing VXN line-up in 1991. One of the Midwest's premier progressive hard rock/metal acts, EDWIN DARE released three studios albums between 1992 and 1997.
Kollman's upcoming live schedule also includes shows with BOMBASTIC MEATBATS, featuring drummer Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, CHICKENFOOT), ASIA feat. John Payne, the JEFF KOLLMAN BAND (with bassist Pete Griffin of DEATHLOK and ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA), and a special private party one-off with bassist Tony Franklin (BLUE MURDER, THE FIRM) and drummer Chris Layton (STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN, ARC ANGELS).
