STORM THORGERSON To Be Remembered On Rockline

STORM THORGERSON, the artist who over an illustrious 40 year career was responsible for artwork for bands and musicians including PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, SCORPIONS, GENESIS, BRUCE DICKINSON, DREAM THEATER among countless others, died peacefully on April 18th after a battle with cancer at the age of 69.
On Wednesday May 15, Storm Thorgerson's life will be remembered on US nationally syndicated radio show Rockline with host Bob Coburn at 8:30pm PT/11:30pm ET. Thorgerson was key member of the graphic art group Hipgnosis, and designed many of their most famous single and album covers, including Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon, which has been called one of the greatest album covers of all time.
