Denmark's MERCENARY will release their new album, Through Our Darkest Days, on July 26th through NoiseArt Records. The band has released the first song coming off the new album, the title track 'Through Our Darkest Days' below.
"We are proud to let you all hear the title track of our new album, Mercenary remark. "We put a lot of effort, heart and soul into this beast and can't wait to unleash it on the world! For us, the song is very iconic and it embodies the melancholic and grand sound that has always been a trademark for Mercenary. Furthermore, we have a contest for those of you who will come out to see us live at the awesome Beastival (May 30th-June 1st) next week! Five fans will get the chance of attending an exclusive press listening event and will be able to hear the whole album as some of the first people in the world! To enter the contest, simply share the post with new song from Mercenary's profile and in addition make a post on your own Facebook-wall where you one) explain why you should be among the five fans to attend and two) tag the Mercenary-Facebook-profile in this post. The 5 most interesting / unique / funny entries will be handpicked by the band. Winners will be notified directly. (Please note that winning does not include a ticket for the festival itself.)“
Again Mercenary decided to record with long time collaborator and Danish master producer Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, HATESPHERE) in order to get the signature powerful and crystal clear production, and for the first time the cover artwork was done by MNEMIC guitar player Mircea Gabriel Eftemie.
