Marseille, France-based metallers ETHS recently announced that they have found a new vocalist, Rachel Aspe. Greece's Rock Overdose has issued a new interview conducted with Rachel, and an except follows:

Q: You already played live with the band, how was it? What was the reaction of the crowd?

A: "I was anxious to play live with them for the first time. But the crowd was very helping, it was really special because I could see their faces discovering me. It seems they mostly liked, they encouraged me all along smiling and saying my name. The two others shows were really nice too."

Q: To tell you the truth I had watched your video from the French TV show on YouTube some months ago so I recognised you right away! Did you expect this turn of events in the end, video being seen by thousands and you becoming the new member of Eths?

A: "It has always been my goal to be part of a band. One of the reasons I went to this TV show was to find one. It had been recording three months before I met Eths, and broadcasted little time after Candice left the band. So things came very fast for me. I had a job and it was hard to work on my vocals so quickly. I didn’t expect this success for the video, many bands contacted me, I did some featurings since that. People are continuing to share and comment on it."

Rachel commented on joining Eths, saying: "I'm really proud to be a part of Eths. I've been a fan of the band for many years, and it's a great honor for me to sing songs I have been listening to for such a long time."

Regarding the new band member, Eths stated: "We're pleased to welcome Rachel to the band. She's great and has an awesome voice! Thanks a lot to Virginie and Nelly for filling in on stage during the last few months. Now a new chapter is beginning for Eths. We're energized and looking forward to our upcoming shows with Rachel. See you on the road!"
