ANTHRAX - Scott Ian Featured In Motor Trend's Celebrity Drive

Motor Trend's new Celebrity Drive article features ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian.
K.S. Wang reports: Lexus has been musician Scott Ian's car marque of choice in recent years. When he's not on the road for work - he's a co-founding member and the guitarist for the heavy metal band Anthrax - his 2013 Lexus RX 350 offers what he wants in a daily driver.
"I love my car. I've been driving a Lexus RX going on seven years now. I keep getting a new one. I don't have anything negative to say about my car. I got hooked on it around 2007, when I got my first one, and I just loved it right off the bat and leased it for three years and got a new one in 2010 and now a new one this year," he says. "I keep going back because I think it's a great car."It's got everything he needs in a car. "I have enough to think about -- I just don't ever want to have to think about my car. I'm sure there's a lot of good cars out there but I just happened to be driving this one because seven years ago I read some stuff about the Lexus RX and I went and test drove it and it was awesome," he says. "I didn't look any further than that. It tells me when it's time for service -- the thing comes on in the dashboard on the little computer screen -- so I bring it in and an hour later it's done. It just makes my life really easy."
