Steamhammer/SPV recently signed REBELLIOUS SPIRIT, a quartet from Southern Germany and promising new hard rock band consisting of members between 17 and 20 years of age. Their debut album, Gamble Shot, will be out on June 21st in Germany, June 24th throughout Europe, and July 2nd in North America.

Rebellious Spirit were founded in summer 2010. Alongside brothers Jannik Fischer (17, vocals/guitar) and Jens Fischer (20, bass/vocals) are Silvio Bizer (18, drums) and Corvin Domhardt (18, guitar/vocals) complete the lineup. After a number of trial concerts, autumn 2010 saw them record their demo CD Heart Of Swabia featuring three original songs and three cover versions. In the meantime, the band has played more than 40 gigs, among them the Rock Of Ages, and have supported RECKLESS LOVE, KISSIN’ DYNAMITE and PUSSY SISSTER in Holland, Flensburg, Cologne and Munich.
