KORPIUS Announce Member Change, Summer Dates

Canadian death black metallers KORPIUS have announced the appointment of Alexandre Maillé on lead guitar, as a replacement for founding guitarist/vocalist Philippe d’Astous.
Korpius was formed in 2003 by guitarists Philippe d’Astous and Maxime Berriault, who both shared lead vocal duties. Max comments on Phillip’s departure: “We regret to announce the departure of one of Korpius’ original founding members, and we wish Phil all the best in his new academic career. Things are really working out great with Alex, and we welcome him on board. Alex and myself have most of the songs written for our sophomore album due in 2014, and we will be showcasing a few new songs during our live shows.”
