Rockin' Rag have YouTube footage of SAMMY HAGAR (CHICKENFOOT, ex-VAN HALEN, MONTROSE) previewing new music with WDHA's Terrie Carr from Sunset Sessions 2013 in Carlsbad, California.
Hagar was recently back in the studio working on a new record with a few familiar friends; Neal Schon (JOURNEY) and his Chickenfoot bandmates Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen), and Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS). Check out photos by Arthur Rosato here.

The original HSAS were a band featuring lead vocalist Sammy Hagar, lead guitarist Neal Schon, bassist Kenny Aaronson and drummer Michael Shrieve.
In 1984, HSAS released a semi-live album, recorded during two live performances at the Warfield in San Francisco, entitled Through The Fire. The under-rated gem album includes a cover of PROCOL HARUM's ;'A Whiter Shade of Pale'.
