The self-titled album of legendary Seattle rockers QUEENSRŸCHE is in stores now. The new record Queensrÿche, released via Century Media, is the latest addition to the band’s multi-platinum musical catalog. The album was produced by Queensrÿche and James “Jimbo” Barton with the first single ‘Fallout’ impacting radio this month. The band is showing some hometown pride with a sold-out show at the Crocodile Club on June 26th to celebrate the release of Queensrÿche. They will also be throwing out the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates that same afternoon. Eddie Jackson will be delivering the throw from the mound. Also on June 29th, the band will be seen on VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show as Scott and Todd sit down with hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson and discuss everything that has gone on with the band over the last year.
Queensrÿche has received critical acclaim including BraveWords review explaining: “This self-titled slab of faith-restoring metal boasts the return of the almighty riff, twin guitar leads, and brazen in-your-face melodies.” From the opening sound of the intro of ‘X2’ to the final notes of the closer, ‘Open Road’ it is apparent that the signature sound that captivated fans for over 30 years is alive and well."
Queensrÿche is Todd La Torre (vocals), Michael Wilton (guitars), Parker Lundgren (guitars), Eddie Jackson (bass) and Scott Rockenfield (drums).
