The KISS Army Depot press conference took place on July 4th at Tom Lee Music in Vancouver, BC, marking the start of the band's 40th Anniversary Canadian Tour. Video footage from the Q&A; can be viewed below:
CBC News issued a July 4th report that KISS presented the Mayor of Surrey, BC, Dianne Watts, with a $10,000 cheque for Sophie's Place, a child advocacy centre named after patron Sophie Tweed-Simmons, daughter of KISS bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons.
The presentation happened at the KISS Army Depot at Tom Lee Music (929 Granville Street) in Vancouver, BC. The event featured all four members of KISS in full make-up to mark the start of their 40th Anniversary Canadian Tour. And the first 200 fans in line got their KISS Army Depot merchandise signed by the band. Further details can be found at this location.
