Polish female fronted heavy metal act CRYSTAL VIPER is currently recording their fifth studio album, titled Possession, and set for release on December 13th via AFM Records. The concept effort will be available as CD, limited edition LP and digital download - CD and LP editions will include alternate bonus tracks.

The band also prepared a unique, and one of a kind surprise for their fans: everyone can be a special guest on the new album!

"It seems people really enjoy the concept albums we do, so our next release will be concept album as well, but even more twisted you all can imagine... Inviting special guests that were recording with us is already kind of tradition for Crystal Viper, but this time we decided to go one step further, and we decided to invite people who are most important for us, people who give us energy and strenght to continue: our fans!", says vocalist and guitarist Marta Gabriel.

"Here's the deal: we want to have YOUR scream on the next Crystal Viper album! And ANY scream is welcomed! How to do it? Simply record yourself screaming: use your iPhone, smartphone, computer, or any other recording device you can find, and send mp3 or wav file with the recording to mail@skolrecords.com - just type "CRYSTAL VIPER SCREAM" in the subject line - and don't forget to tell us your full name, as you will be listed in the booklet of the next Crystal Viper album as a special guest!", she adds.

Fans can submit their recordings until August 15th.

In other news, Crystal Viper recently confirmed two live shows in Germany, as the special guest of MANILLA ROAD, on September 25th in Russelsheim, and on September 26th in Ludwigsburg. On August 17th the band will also appear on the Sabaton Open Air in Falun, Sweden.
