AC/DC's Young Family Among Australia’s Wealthiest
July 25, 2013, 11 years ago
According to Themusic.com.au, AC/DC legends Angus Young and Malcolm Young, along with their brother/producer George Young (also part of THE EASYBEATS who had a hit with 'Friday On My Mind'), have found their way back into the esteemed list of families considered to be Australia’s wealthiest as the Business Review Weekly magazine published today its list of the 50 richest families in the country.
The Young’s have re-entered the list in 48th position with combined earnings of $255 million over the past year. The earnings are just a smidgen of the kind of money being pulled in by the top earning families in the country.
While the Young boys were born in Scotland and Angus and George presently live in the Netherlands and Portugal, they are still Australian citizens and, as such, considered Australian artists. They are the only entertainers to make the 2013 list.
