50-Year Old Polish Citizen Dies Of Natural Causes At Wacken Open Air 2013

Wacken Open Air 2013 is currently underway (August 1st - 3rd) in Wacken, Germany. Organizers have issued the following sad news:

"During the night from Thursday to Friday a tragic death happened at W:O:A. A 50-year old Polish metalhead was found dead in his tent in the morning. A third party negligence or an accident are deduced by the relevant authorities. The man died of natural causes.

We are deeply saddened and will of course support the family during these hard times. Our thoughts are with the family and friends!

R.I.P. Metalhead!"

As reported earlier, Wacken organizers held a press conference where they announced that legendary Norwegian black metallers EMPEROR will be headlining the 25th anniversary of the Wacken Open Open Air, which will be held from July 31st-August 2nd in Wacken, Germany (about an hour outside of Hamburg). Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) and Samoth (Tomas Haugen) were both present at the press conference to answers questions about the band's reunion dates in 2014 as well as the possibilities of a new album.

Emperor's last official studio album was 2001's Prometheus: The Discipline Of Fire And Demise.
