HAKEN Reveal 'Pareidolia' Video
August 5, 2013, 11 years ago
Progressive-metallers HAKEN are gearing up for the release of their third album and InsideOut Music debut, The Mountain. They've just revealed the second track to be taken from said album, and this comes in the shape of the ten-minute long journey that is 'Pareidolia'. The band had this to say about the track: "This song is at the heavier end of the Haken spectrum. It's a bit of a culture clash too; we had fun incorporating the Hindu scale, some tribal percussion and even a Greek bouzouki into our sound. We asked Marc Papeghin to create the visuals for us after he blew us away with his epic 22 minute Visions video."
Due out on September 17th, The Mountain will be available in several different formats, including a limited edition digipak CD which includes two bonus tracks, a standard jewelcase CD, a heavyweight gatefold 2LP and digital download. The tracklisting is as follows:
'The Path'
'Atlas Stone'
'Cockroach King'
'In Memoriam'
'Because It's There'
'Falling Back To Earth'
'As Death Embraces'
'Pareidolia'
'Somebody'
