Fourth Annual Vegas Rocks! Awards To Honour ZAKK WYLDE

The Fourth Annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards will be held August 25th inside The Joint at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This year’s theme of A Celebration Of Classic Rock will feature:
- Jon Anderson (YES) honored with the Voice Of Progressive Music Award- Carl Palmer (EMERSON LAKE & PALMER / ASIA)) honored with the Drum Legend Icon Award
- Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY / OZZY OSBOURNE) honored with the Riff Monster Award
- Laura Wilde honored with the Best New Female Artist Award
The event will be co-hosted by Vegas Rocks! Magazine Publisher/ Founder/ CEO Sally Steele and drummer James Kottak from THE SCORPIONS.
GEOFF TATE's QUEENSRŸCHE will kick things off, followed by Carl Palmer performing a historic ELP song with Jordan Rudess from DREAM THEATER, Rudy Sarzo (DIO / QUIET RIOT) and Jon Anderson. SLAUGHTER will also be honored throughout the evening, and will be participating in the All-Star Celebrity Jam for the finale with Vince Neil (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Simon Wright (AC/DC) and many others.
Other participants include Mark Kendall and Michael Lardie (GREAT WHITE), Chris Holmes (W.A.S.P.), Ron Jeremy, DJ Ashba (GUNS N’ ROSES / SIXX: A.M.)
Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster or in person at the Hard Rock Hotel Joint box office. Prices for this event are $30 (General Admission seating), $50 (VIP Reserved seating) and $100 (VIP Table seating / Includes special VIP Souvenir Laminate).
