DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen has posted new drum cam footage online from the band's recent show at the Jurassic Rock Festival in Mikkeli, Finland. Check it out below:
Van Poederooyen has also issued the following update:
"Here's my newest Drumcam recorded with my Zoom Q3HD recorder. We recently headlined the second night of the awesome Jurassic Rock Festival in Mikkeli, Finland. It was an amazing night with some great Finnish fans and we had a blast playing in finland once again! These are the songs 'Kingdom' and 'Storm'. Thanks to all of you on my Facebook Artist page who voted for which song to put up. It was such a close race between 'Storm' and 'Kingdom' that I decided to put both up :) Thanks for your feedback! This drumcam is pretty cool based on the fact that you can see my whole drumkit this time around and see my feet and hands doing there thing as opposed to just my hands. The sound is great like usual with the Q3HD recorder but because we had to put it a ways behind the kit to fit my whole drumkit in the picture, the bass drums are a little lower in volume than normal. You can still hear them just wished they were a bit louder, cymbals can be overbearing at times!!! These are the sacrifices you need to make sometimes to get a great picture!
Regardless, I hope you enjoy the video and as always, thanks so much for your amazing support! All you people who follow me and what I do with and outside of the DTP are amazing. I'm very thankful and grateful to have you guys along for the ride!"
