TARJA TURUNEN - New Audio Interview Available

Ex-NIGHTWISH vocalist TARJA TURUNEN is about to release her debut album, My Winter Storm, which she considers a very important moment in her artistic career. She will also start a tour soon with her new live band. The Finnish vocalist started her musical studies when she was six years old and joined Nightwish at the age of 19, in 1996.
In a new interview with Metalhead.ro, Turunen says that Nightwish is still an important part of her life, a part that she feels difficult to leave behind. You'll find out which are the things that inspire Tarja, what is the concept of her new album and how she feels about Nightwish and other symphonic metal bands.
"I was with Nightwish for such a long time, that I still feel the band as a part of myself. I was one of the most important elements inNightwish for nine years, and the band was an essential part of myself, too."

Turunen's debut solo effort, My Winter Storm, will be issued on November 16th (international release date: November 19th). Her lead single 'I Walk Alone' will be available on October 26th (international release date: October 29th). Confirmed songs titles are 'I Walk Alone', 'Oasis', 'Lost Northern Star', 'The Seer', 'Damned And Divine', 'Sing For Me', 'Calling Grace', 'The Reign', 'Ciarán’s Well', and a cover of ALICE COOPER's 'Poison'.
