THE WINERY DOGS Drummer Mike Portnoy Featured In New Metal Express Radio Interview

THE WINERY DOGS drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-DREAM THEATER) is featured in a new interview with Scott Jeslis at Metal Express Radio. In the audio clip below they discuss the new band, Portnoy's departure from ADRENALINE MOB, and his various projects.
Portnoy on The Winery Dogs: "The three of us got together at Richie's house and, no exaggeration, within the first day we had already written about four or five songs, and on the second day wrote another three or four. I mean it just happened that quickly and that naturally. The songs just fell out of us effortlessly."
The Winery Dogs - also featuring vocalist/guitarist Richie Kotzen (MR. BIG, POISON) and bassist Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG) - have added three more shows to their upcoming US tour (**) in Philadelphia, New York and Rhode Island.

The Winery Dogs released their self-titled debut album on July 23rd via Loud & Proud Records. It exploded onto Billboard's Top Rock Chart at #5, and also opened on the Top 200 Albums chart at #27.
