GRAVE Schedule Special Show In Stockholm

hot flashes news grave

Swedish death metal legends GRAVE have scheduled a special show on September 6th at Debaser Medis in Stockholm.

An update states: "1988 was the year when Grave (previously CORPSE) created delightful death symphonies with the release of their first demo, Sick Disgust Eternal, which was similar to the brutality of NIHILIST and CARNAGE put together in Stockholm at the same time. Grave – together with ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER and UNLEASHED – has since then marched in the forefront of what would be called Swedish death metal and worshipped by metal heads all over the world.

August 26th marks the release of Grave’s upcoming EP, Morbid Ascent (Century Media). The fact is that Grave also celebrates 25 years as a band, and this is worth honouring to say the least! On Friday, September 6th, the mighty Grave – Ola Lindgren (vocals and guitar), Ronnie Bergerstål (drums, ex-CENTINEX), Tobias Cristiansson (bass, ex-Dismember) and Mika Lagrén (guitar, FACEBREAKER) – will perform songs from all their albums, as well as a handful of demo songs and other goodies from their career, at Debaser Medis in Stockholm.

This is the gig you want to be able to tell the grandkids about!"

An event page can be found at this location.

Grave recently finished the recordings for the 5-track EP, Morbid Ascent, which includes two brand new tracks, a cover version of SATYRICON's 'Possessed', a remix version of 'Epos' as well as the newly recorded version of 'Reality Of Life', a classic Grave demo track from the Sexual Mutilation demo (1989).

Due out digitally on September 17th in North America, Morbid Ascent is now available for pre-order at CM Distro on mustard yellow vinyl (USA exclusive color; limited to 200 copies).

The cover artwork as well as additional interior artwork and the entire layout has been done again by Costin Chioreanu, who has already done covers for the three previous Grave albums as well as artwork for numerous other artists and bands (DARKTHRONE, DESTROYER 666, ULVER, etc.).

Morbid Ascent will be released as a limited 12" MLP (with full color, 180g vinyl and full color inlay) as well as digital download. Both formats will be offered for a fan-friendly price. The release date of the digital download is set to August 26th. The vinyl version will already be available at various sales stands on Party.San and Summer Breeze Open Air. Keep your eyes open.
