Trouble released their first album since 2007's Simple Mind Condition, entitled The Distortion Field, in July. It was the first to feature new lead vocalist Kyle Thomas, formerly of ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, EXORDER and FLOODGATE.
With The Distortion Field, Trouble cracked two of Billboard's Charts. The album came in at #125 on the Top Independent Albums Chart, and #25 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart (Heatseekers) which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
In live news, Trouble will play the Day Of Doom Fest in Barcelona, Spain on October 12th, followed by Dutch Doom Days XIII in Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 19th.
