In the first hour of the show, Y&T; frontman Dave Meniketti discusses the band’s forthcoming tour of the UK and Europe, and touches on the their 40th anniversary plans for 2014. Dave also talks about playing with the surviving members of MONTROSE at Sammy Hagar’s 40th anniversary shows, and selects classic tracks from both Y&T; and Montrose.
Also in the first hour, Steve Newman, vocalist/guitarist with enduring UK melodic hard rockers Newman discusses the band’s new album Siren, and chooses two tracks from the record. In part 2, David Michael Phillips, guitarist with King Kobra, talks about the band’s new release II, which mixes classic rock influences with the band’s trademark hard rock sound. David also picks songs from “II”.
And finally, drummer Marco Goossemans of Belgian power trio Triggerfinger discusses the band’s recent surprise hit single (with an acoustic cover version of a Dutch pop song, recorded for a radio show!), live shows and plans for a new album.
