In 2010, the organizers of Holland's Roadburn Festival invited Tom Gabriel Warrior, founder of HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST, and TRIPTYKON, to act as the curator at that year's festival. Under the banner of Only Death Is Real, Roadburn 2010 thus became the venue for the presentation of Triptykon's newly-released debut album, Eparistera Daimones, as well as Triptykon's first official life appearance.

Triptykon has been asked to return to Roadburn in 2014. To commemorate the release of Triptykon's long-awaited new album in spring 2014, Triptykon will appear on Roadburn's main stage at the 013 venue, on Sunday, April 13th.

From deep in the earth you can feel massive vibrations… soon they become audible - huge distant riffs growing louder and turning into a sonic assault with a familiar feel and groove. Suddenly you realize… NOLA is in the house! Roadburn 2014 welcomes legendary New Orleans riffmasters CROWBAR to the 013 main stage on Thursday, April 10th. With ties to DOWN, EYEHATEGOD, ACID BATH and PANTERA, Crowbar will definitely provide Roadburners with a perfect cure for their New Orleans metal jones in 2014.

Led by founder Kirk Windstein (also a member of doom legends Down), Crowbar have been forerunners in sludge metal since 1991. Their last album, Sever The Wicked Hand, shows the band is still going strong as they expertly run through a number of different tempos in tight, well-crafted songs while dropping riff after head banging riff. The vocal approach on Sever offers up quite a bit of variety as well, and the record stands as one of the most overlooked from 2011. Along with their classic records like Crowbar, Time Heals Nothing and Obedience Through Suffering, they will have an enormous amount of great material to draw from. Prepare for a headbanging frenzy!
