The release of Italian gothic metallers MACBETH's fifth studio album Neo-Gothic Propaganda has been postponed to winter.

Macbeth have been forced to change the cover for their new album by the Italian "Soprintendenza per i Beni Architettonici e Paesaggistici” (superintendent of architecture) that rejected the image publication use request submitted by the band. The album cover that shows the Abbey of San Galgano invaded by crows with a gramophone on the center aisle will not be used because: "Commercial use is not permitted.”

The band commented: "Commercial use is not permitted without a specific permission 'cause it seems that one of the most known Italian pop band (shot) a video clip inside the abbey. You can find it by searching on Youtube. It would be yet another opportunity to spread Italian culture world-wide".

Further information including the exact release dates to follow soon.
