BRIAN TICHY On Mars Attacks Podcast

Episode 78 of the Mars Attacks Podcast features an interview multi-instrumentalist Brian Tichy. He’s been the drummer of such bands as Zakk Wylde’s PRIDE & GLORY, OZZY OZBOURNE, FOREIGNER, BILLY IDOL, WHITESNAKE, and recently filled in for Simon Wright in Geoff Tate’s version of QUEENSRŸCHE. The interview took place slightly before he started touring with Queensrÿche. Joining him on that tour would be Sass Jordan, who is the lead singer of Tichy’s band S.U.N. or Something Onto Nothing.
During the interview we discusses such topics as S.U.N., being asked by Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH) to record and gig live with him, what it was like joining up with Zakk initially, which subsequently lead to a stint with Ozzy. Another important item mentioned is how he created the Bonzo Bash, which is a tribute to the late great John Bonham of Led Zeppelin.
