From the depths of the Sub Pop archives comes a reissue of SOUNDGARDEN’s thunderous opening salvo, Screaming Life, plus bonus tracks from the Fopp EP and Sub Pop 200 compilation. This reissue marks the first time these tracks will be available digitally, and their first appearance on vinyl since the original, late-80s pressings. All tracks have been re-mastered for maximum power by Seattle studio wizard and producer of the original Screaming Life and Sub Pop 200 sessions, Jack Endino. The reissue will be released on November 26th. Pre-orders can be placed here.

In other news, Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, bassist Ben Shepherd, and guitarist Kim Thayil recently spent some time with O2 Academy TV, prior to their show at O2 Academy Brixton to chat about King Animal, playing live and their favourite bands. They also discuss the differences between touring now and when they toured in the '90s, as well as what to expect from the new album.
