BOB DAISLEY On BLACK SABBATH Split With BILL WARD - "It's Obvious That It's Some Kind Of Cover-Up And Excuse"
October 8, 2013, 11 years ago
Legendary bassist BOB DAISLEY (OZZY OSBOURNE, RAINBOW, URIAH HEEP, GARY MOORE, BLACK SABBATH) recently spoke with writer Joel Gausten in an exclusive interview on a variety of subjects. A teaser from the conversation is available below featuring Daisley talking about the controversail split between Black Sabbath and drummer Bill Ward:
Daisley: “I don’t think Bill’s been treated fairly at all, and I don’t think all the stuff they’ve been putting in the press is fair or true. It’s obvious that it’s some kind of cover-up and excuse, isn’t it? Even people in forums have been making comments along the lines of, ‘Why don’t you tell the truth? You stiffed Bill on bad contracts. Stop making up bullshit about him.’”

On August 19th, Daisley released his autobiography, For Facts Sake. He is featured in a 60+ minute career spanning video interview in support of the book below:
About For Facts Sake, Bob states: "Well folks, at long last, my autobiography For Facts Sake is ready to roll. It's taken me over four years to complete. It covers every band and artist that I've ever worked with and has over 460 photos (many of them color) within and throughout the text. I wanted to make it affordable for the many fans that have given their support. I hope that it lives up to your expectations."
