The long-awaited Wagnerian opera metal project Lyraka Volume 2: Sonata Sirena is set for release August 29th, 2014, and contains vocal performances by Al Atkins (JUDAS PRIEST/ATKINS/MAY), Rob Diaz (VASTATOR), Veronica Freeman (BENEDICTUM), Robert Lowe (SOLITUDE AETERNUS, CANDLEMASS), and a vocal trio featuring Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, ALCATRAZZ), Mark Boals (YNGWIE MALMSTEN, RING OF FIRE) and Liz Vandall (ULI JON ROTH and SAHARA).
Lyraka has posted a video on Facebook concerning their long delayed release, including audio clips from songs featuring Graham Bonnet and Mark Boals here.
Composer-lead guitarist Andy DiGelsomina announces: "Lyraka Volume 2 is practically finished from all perspectives except for production and engineering. With the help of our fans and friends (both of whom are the same in my eyes), we can move the release of this cd up by over half a year. Forgive the shortness of the clips, and homemade quality of the video of itself."
