Read what the band has to say about the new album: "This album is by far the angriest yet most diverse one we have done yet, its the next level for Man Must Die, we couldn't be happier with how its turned out, its brutal beyond the word and yet more melodic and memorable than ever. With Peace Was Never An Option we really focused on the song writing which is really important in MMD's sound, seems to be bypassed a lot in modern music. All the classic metal is all about the songs, this is what influences us, this is what we do."

The Scottish band is known for having rigorous titles for their records that express the essence of the releases and the underlying attitude in short. Following ...Start Killing (2004) and the two Relapse albums The Human Condition (2007) and No Tolerance For Imperfection, Man Must Die's fourth effort and Lifeforce debut is entitled Peace Was Never An Option. This is both warning and promise.

Man Must Die were formed in October 2002 and catches attention due to their uncompromising, technical death metal style. On Peace Was Never An Option the Scotts pursue their concentrated approach of modern extreme metal. The quartet is playing fast and furious songs that showcase the practical experience and tightness of more than a decade within the heavy underground as well as the unbroken dedication and ebullient creativity when it comes to death metal.
