London-based heavy rock label Bad Omen Records has joined forces with the Los Angeles-based independent hard rock/metal label Prosthetic Records for North American distribution. Founded by Will Palmer following almost two decades at London-based independent Rise Above Records, Bad Omen's roster includes garage rock/doom outfit SATAN'S SATYRS, dark blues rockers THE TOWER, high energy heavy metallers CC COMPANY and rock n' roll headbangers ASOMVEL, whose new album Knuckle Duster - due October 29th - will serve as Bad Omen's inaugural North American release. Pre-orders are available now at this location.

Throughout their 20-year existence, Asomvel has been turning it up to 10 and belting out mean-spirited rock n' roll, shooting from the hip and singing it as they saw it. Knuckle Duster marks the band's second full-length release and was recorded in the group's UK hometown of Bradford at Mutiny Studios with producer/mixer James Atkinson. The first single, 'Cash Whore', can be heard below:

Formed in 1993 by guitarist Lenny Robinson and bassist/vocalist Jay-Jay Winter, Asomvel recorded their first official demo in 2002. After 2007's 'Full Moon Dog' 10-inch, the power trio managed to thrash out their raucous debut LP Kamikaze in 2009 to much acclaim, firmly establishing themselves as underdog cult heroes of the UK heavy metal underground. Barely a year later, however, the band was shaken to its core when Winter was killed in a road accident. Although shaken by the devastating tragedy, Robinson knew that the band had to continue in tribute to the determined spirit of their founding frontman.

"Asomvel could've died with him, but I was never gonna let that happen," affirms the axeman.

Asomvel is:

Conan - Vocals/Bass

Lenny Robinson - Guitar

Jason Hope - Drums
