ASHES OF ARES Launch Contest For 'Chalice Of Man' Video

ASHES OF ARES, featuring Matt Barlow (ex-ICED EARTH), Van Williams (ex-NEVERMORE) and Freddie Vidales (ex-Iced Earth), invite their fans and aspiring filmmakers from around the world to express their creativity by making their own music video for the track 'Chalice Of Man' off the band’s recent Billboard-charting debut album.

Frontman Matt Barlow states: “Brothers and Sisters! In the spirit of Halloween, Ashes Of Ares and Nuclear Blast invite you to create a video for the song ‘Chalice Of Man'. We are really excited to see what you pull from your twisted little minds to combine with our vampiric vision. The NB family will give due diligence to deliver your demonic delights, so have fun... and good luck!”

Ashes Of Ares recently unveiled the first official video from their self-titled debut album, which is out now via Nuclear Blast Records on limited CD digipak, including a bonus track, as well as on two different double-LP versions. 'This Is My Hell' which was directed by David Brodsky. It was shot in an old steel foundry in Newburgh, NY along the Hudson River.

Ashes Of Ares' debut was recorded in part at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida with legendary producer Jim Morris (ICED EARTH, OBITUARY, JON OLIVA'S PAIN, JAG PANZER).
